The Michelin Guide's review
An ancient cobbled pathway running from Barichara to Guane that has been rebuilt several times over the centuries. In the pre-Columbian era, it constituted the principal axis of movement of the Guane people. After running down one side of a canyon, the trail crosses a valley covered with cacti and trees, periodically traversing the main road leading to Guane. You may bump into a few cows and goats, but probably no people. While you're walking, look out for the fossils among the stones in the path.
