The Michelin Guide's review
Overlooking the Plaza Principal, this 18C church is flanked by two towers. The yellow-orange hues of its stone, which become beautifully nuanced at sunset, contrast with the whitewashed walls of the surrounding residences. Inside, twelve 5m-high fluted columns direct your gaze toward the retable of the high altar, with its gold leaf ornamentation. The wood and bamboo ceiling and the chapel dedicated to the Virgen de la Piedra are also remarkable.
