The Michelin Guide's review
The jewel in Western Canada's crown, this chain of four adjoining national parks - Banff, Yoho, Jasper and Kootenay - grouped together in the southern part of the Rockies, attracts visitors in their millions. And with good reason! The unspoiled landscape, dotted with lakes and waterfalls and framed by majestic glaciers and snow-capped mountains, is home to a wide variety of plants and wildlife. With Hamber, Mount Robson and Mount Assiniboine Provincial Parks, the Rockies parks comprise one of the largest nature reserves in the world.
