The Michelin Guide's review
Paved pathways and well-sited benches entice visitors to linger and savor the fine views of Bandon Beach, the open ocean, and a sculpture garden of massive seastacks. Those seastacks-and the point itself-are part of Oregon Islands National Wildlife Refuge. Train your binoculars on the offshore rocks and surrounding waters and you may spot puffins, harbor seals, pelicans, cormorants and many other animals. Memorably informative interpretive panels along the trail describe these creatures as well as local Indian and pioneer history.
