The Michelin Guide's review
The volcanic Siebengebirge (Seven Mountains) range rises to an altitude of 460m. The range dominates Bad Godesberg from the right bank of the Rhine, which is covered by the Rhine region's northernmost vineyards. At the foot of the range, the small towns of Bad Honnef-Rhöndorf and Königswinter are built on the banks of the river; a funicular runs from the latter up to the legendary Drachenfels. Halfway up the mountain stands the historic and beautifully restored Drachenburg castle (1882).
