The Michelin Guide's review
The parish church, rebuilt in the 15C and 16C, has stood witness to the town's long history. It is the valley's oldest parish and used to be its administrative centre. The Gothic nave is particularly imposing. The outside of the church walls and niches either side of the main doorway are adorned with finely crafted tombstones bearing the effigies of gold and silver mine owners.
