The Michelin Guide's review
This quadrangular tower, built outside the town with 24m/80ft-high walls, only has two remaining walls. The tower was in fact the cella of a temple dedicated to an unknown Roman god. Any relation to Janus is fantasy and in the Middle Ages it was called the Genetoye Tower.
