This museum contains a representative selection of objects found on the Augst site. The silverware unearthed in 1961 near the walls of the Kaiseraugst castrum (early 4C) includes 68 pieces of an extravagant dinner service (decorative dishes, goblets and candle sticks). A scale model illustrates the extent of the site during its heyday, while a video charts its evolution.
