The Michelin Guide's review
On one of Downtown's highest ridges, the Georgia State Capitol, built in 1889 in the classic Renaissance style, is a scaled-down version of the US Capitol in Washington, DC. The state's political nerve centre houses the offices of Georgia's governor, the State Senate and House of Representatives. Inside the central rotunda, an impressive three-storey atrium is as high as the dome. On the fourth floor, the Capitol Museum recounts the building's history.
