The Michelin Guide's review
The outstanding Museum of Cycladic Art (Goulandris Foundation), created in 1986, is devoted to the Aegean civilisation, in particular the prehistory of the Cyclades, boasting a collection of over one thousand objects which date from 3000 to the 4C BC. Since 1991, the museum has been extended to the Stathatos palace, which is home to the magnificent famous Cycladic idols, superb red-figure ceramics, sumptuous giant amphorae and the beautiful Politis collection.
