The Michelin Guide's review
The silt-laden waters of the Athabasca River roar over a lip of quartzite and down a canyon smoothed by the force of the rushing waters. Backdropping the cataract, Mt. Kerkeslin, slightly reddish from quartzite, has the same layering as the rock by the falls.
