Armentières Town Hall
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
Designed by architect Louis Marie Cordonnier, the town hall is an imposing brick building in the Flemish Renaissance style with a majestic belfry that has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2005. A panoramic view rewards those who climb to the top - some 100 steps up. The stained-glass windows of the grand staircase show the old local industries: weaving, spinning and brewing.
