Winter town

The Michelin Guide's review
Set apart from the summer town, to which it is linked by a lift, the winter town is very restful. Sheltered from the sea winds, this restrained old lady, chic and excentric, draped in lace, stretches out around the Parc Mauresque. Its fine thoroughfares lined with splendid late 19C-early 20C villas run through a forest of pine trees. Built for TB sufferers, it is a sort of urban park, where the villas are adorned with gingerbread trim on the gables, balconies and external staircases.
