The Michelin Guide's review
Built in the 15C for the Dominicans, this church with its overhanging roof is a regional landmark. The very wide Gothic nave is characteristic of preaching orders. The side chapels are adorned with the coats of arms of guilds. On the pillar to the right and in front of the pulpit is a fresco of the Assumption. On the left of the chancel is a fine Descent of the Cross by P. Pourbus the Elder, a 15C trompe l'oeil mural and a sculpture of the dead body of Philibert de Monthouz with ten weeping mourners.
