The Michelin Guide's review
Surrounded by 34ha/84acres of landscaped grounds and restored Baroque gardens, this moated castle has a main section and an entrance lodge (12C-17C). The museum exhibits three centuries of royal interior decoration: a collection of paintings (Rembrandt, Brueghel, Murillo), tapestries, furniture, porcelain and weapons. Worth seeing inside are the grand oak staircase, the knights' chamber with its gallery of ancestors, and the reception hall decorated with Flemish tapestries.
