The Michelin Guide's review
A 19C spire tops this 14C-15C Flamboyant Gothic church. In the Lady chapel are 15C frescoes depicting the Life of St Guidon, who died in 1012 and is venerated as the patron saint of peasants and protector of horses. The late-11C crypt is the site of his burial. Nearby, the convent (rue du Chapelain 8) founded in 1252 has rows of little 14C houses, a picture of intimate tranquillity.
