Five large rooms (prehistory, Iberian culture, Roman culture, the Middle Ages, and modern history) show how the region's first inhabitants lived, as well as explaining their beliefs and customs. The central area offers an insight into the techniques used by archaeologists in their work and features reconstructions of three digs: a cave, a church and an underwater site.
