The Michelin Guide's review
What it lacks in stylistic unity, the cathedral makes up for in majesty, which is best admired from Via Principe Umberto. In the 19C a neo-Classical pronaos was added to the façade giving onto the little Piazza del Duomo. The oldest parts (bell tower, apse) are in the Catalan late-Gothic style and date from the 16C. The interior has three naves and its decorative features date back to the 18C, boasts a marble high altar from 1727.
