The Michelin Guide's review
In the 12C, this was the headquarters of the Aragon Command of the Order of Calatrava. Most of the buildings, which are now a parador, date back to the 18C. At the end of the courtyard is the keep (Torre del Homenaje), which has some remains of rich 14C murals. On the ground floor, the religious theme predominates; the paintings on the first floor concentrate on historical and military subjects.
