Oudna

 Michelin Guide
 Historical and archaeological site
  The Michelin Guide's review
Oudna, the ancient city of Uthina, was one of the oldest colonies in North Africa listed by Pliny the Elder. Populated by veterans of the 13th Legion, it enjoyed its zenith in the 2C AD, before falling into decline following invasions by the Vandals. Although the site is not particularly spectacular, it is constantly developing. Hardly a month goes by without teams of archaeologists unearthing columns, fragments and marble plaques, all of which are slowly providing more information on the history of the city.
