The Michelin Guide's review
With its four 13m-high look-out towers, this tomb (1628), built by Empress Nur Jahan for her father Mirza Ghiyas Beg, is reminiscent of the Tomb of Jahangir in Lahore (Pakistan). The exterior is entirely clad in white marble and encrusted with semi-precious stones such as jasper, lapis lazuli and onyx, while the interior is adorned with delicate motifs depicting bowls of fruit, vases and cypresses.
