Museum of Amazigh Heritage
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
This pleasant, airy museum presents an introduction to the life of the Amazigh (Berbers) of the south of Morocco. Note the superb jewellery (necklaces, bracelets and, in particular, a traditional headdress known as a tasfift (or tawnza) made up of pieces of enamelled metal held together by rings and loops), embroidered clothes, carpets in orange hues, magnificent doors and wooden objects and tools. Temporary exhibitions offer a chance to discover the most promising artists from the Agadir school of painting.
