The Michelin Guide's review
This small neo-Gothic manor house, now converted into a hotel, was built in 1832 for the Earl of Dunraven, who hired, amongst others, James Pain and Augustus Welby Pugin as architects. Inside, the staircase panelling and long gallery (40 m) are particularly noteworthy. The grounds, which run alongside the River Maigue, include a maze and a lake.
