Hospital of the Misericord
The Green Guide
The Michelin Guide's review
In this old hospital you will notice the room by the name of do Définitório, decorated with 18C azulejos and crowned by a coffered wood ceiling. One particularly eye-catching furnishing is the burra (literally meaning a female donkey) from the 16C as well as an iron chest with a clever clasp not to mention a floor fixation device used for transporting precious objects in boats during the era of the Great Discoveries.
