The Michelin Guide's review
Chengyang Bridge is the pride and joy of the Sanjiang region. The impressive 78m-long structure, the covered walkway of which is crowned with five pavilions linked by a tiled roof, took 12 years to build (1912-24). It leads to the villages of Chengyang: first of all, to Ma'an, then on to Pingzhai, where shows are staged on the main square every day. A footbridge then leads on to Yanzhai.
