  The Michelin Guide's review
Stretching around Malmö is Scania, "Sweden's pantry". In this lovely hilly countryside, farms are prosperous and the land is fertile. Danish until 1658, Scania is proud of its flag, half Swedish, with its yellow cross, half Danish with its red background. It continues to flaunt its difference, scattered with half-timbered houses and characteristic white churches. The peninsulas of Bjäre, Kullen and Falsterbo, as well as the islands Ven and Väderö, are worth visiting.
