The Michelin Guide's review
Located on the Saskatchewan-Montana border, Grasslands National Park is home to one of the few remaining examples of natural grasslands in North America, and is superb when in bloom in June. This still little known park is home to plains bison and the only black-tailed prairie dog colonies in the country, not to mention the remains of a significant Aboriginal Canadian settlement. Not to be missed: the eco-circuit that runs through the region, and the sunset from the top of 70 Mile Butte.
