The Michelin Guide's review
Julia Pfeiffer Burns State Park is named after the daughter of one of the first families of colonists who came in the 19C to forest the redwoods. McWay Stream runs through the park, making for pleasant hikes in the Californian scrubland and redwood and oak forests. A track lined with eucalyptuses passes beneath the road and comes to McWay Falls, which cascades from a height of 25m into the ocean.
