Innojō-futa Arches

The Michelin Guide's review
The coralline limestone cliffs have been battered by the waves to create striking rock formations. Standing on the beach, large blocks shaped like mushrooms make for curious reliefs; meanwhile, halfway up the steep rock faces, it is as if Mother Nature herself has hewn out the deliberate shape of large arches reminiscent of a pair of spectacles. In summer, the sun sets in the axis of the arches, on the horizon of the East China Sea.
