The Michelin Guide's review
Its name is already a promising invitation... Dales cut through high rocks, leading to beaches or harbours set in coves. Fields alternate with gorse, and whitewashed houses are surrounded by lush meadows. Its temperate oceanic climate attracts many visitors every summer. Today, lovers of walking and horse-riding come to recharge their batteries in front of these unchanging landscapes. This is Belle-Île, the largest of the Breton islands.
