The Michelin Guide's review
Surrounded by rose bushes, this restaurant, which has stood on the banks of the Loire since 1938, affords a lovely view of the river and the abbey church – St-Florent-le-Vieil. In a lovely contemporary space, the chef serves up appealing traditional cuisine drawing on regional fare (pike-perch, pike, eel, young free-range pigeon, calf sweetbreads) accompanied by classic sauces (beurre blanc, shellfish jus, wine sauce).
