The Michelin Guide's review
With a decade of history behind it, this restaurant in downtown Toronto quietly but confidently continues to impress. The modest, sleepy dining room stands in stark contrast to a sharp kitchen that prepares a wide swath of familiar, regional dishes, from the famous deep-fried chicken 65 of Chennai to the sharp, fiery vindaloos of Goa. Efforts to gussy up the plating with swirls and dots of sauce may seem superfluous, but the end result is still a delicious one. Past highlights include butter-rich dal bukhari, fiery dhaba chicken curry, comforting aloo gobi and crisp, fragrant garlic naan.
