Italian Contemporary
The Michelin Guide's review
On the ground level of what has become one of the symbols of the Turin skyline, the Intesa Sanpaolo skyscraper designed by Renzo Piano, there is the entrance to the restaurant. From here, a lift takes you quickly up to a height of 150 metres, but before taking your seat, it’s worth stopping off at the panoramic terrace, which offers a splendid view of the city. In the bright dining room surrounded by the conservatory, the menu is organised into three tasting menus: one dedicated to Piedmont, one inspired by the cuisine and flavours of Italy, which also features seafood dishes such as turbot with a sauce of saffron, rosemary and candied lemon, and a third menu that is vegetarian. At lunchtime, however, the menu takes on a more informal feel, thanks to a bistro-style offering that is simpler and more straightforward.
