Modern Cuisine
The Michelin Guide's review
In the heart of the Périgord Blanc, this stone-built house is home to a charming contemporary venue dedicated to showcasing local market gardeners and artisans – the cutlery is exquisite! From his open kitchen, chef Louis Festa crafts ambitious and flavourful dishes in which the hallmarks of the Périgord are enriched by Japanese influences inspired by his travels: a starter of chawanmushi; quail breast marinated in koji, Japanese aubergines with sake and soya sauce; for dessert, peach, buckwheat and hōjicha (roasted green tea). Beautifully balanced seasonal cuisine.
