The Michelin Guide's review
Located in the same establishment as La Table de Valrose, the Café sports a cosy, rustic-cum-alpine feel, both outside on the terrace shaded by chestnut trees and framed by mountains, and by the fireplace in the wainscoted interior. Relax in the lounge bar with a cocktail, coffee or cognac in hand. The menu features an enticing array of tasty, seasonal, felicitous dishes, while classics such as the Valrose fondue (with or without champagne), malakoffs and the timeless rib of Saanenland beef are permanent fixtures on the menu. The dessert trolley is available all afternoon for decadent teatime treats. Locals and tourists alike flock to the Café Valrose for its delightfully unfussy, relaxed atmosphere.
