The Michelin Guide's review
The famous bolinho de feijoada (feijoada fritter) recipe, created in this restaurant by the highly enterprising owner-chef Kátia Barbosa, was popularised in the country’s soap operas to the point that it has become a symbol of national pride. The restaurant’s unpretentious dining room, decorated with Brazilian motifs, is enhanced by a pleasant terrace. The cuisine is traditional Brazilian, with influences from Rio and the northeast of the country, and can be accompanied by one of the 80 beers on offer here.
