Steeped in tradition, this restaurant in the centre of Podersdorf has been run by the same family for four generations. Their ties to the region are reflected in delicious dishes made with ingredients from the owner's native Burgenland. The handwritten menu features classics such as veal liver and schnitzel, as well as options including pan-fried Arctic char fillet with pak choi and celeriac cream. In summer, the courtyard behind the house is especially inviting, with a spacious gravel terrace shaded by trees. The estate's own wines are well represented on the menu. The establishment also runs a wine tavern nearby (open Fri, Sat and Sun), and has five cosy and inviting double rooms.
