The Michelin Guide's review
At the helm of this new restaurant is Julia de Laguarigue, a chef from Martinique, who has experience in some excellent kitchens. She concocts delicious bistro-style cuisine with strong Creole influences, which she dubs "Frenchie-tropical". Indulgence abounds in her dishes, with combinations that hit the mark: shredded chicken, sauce chien (Creole hot sauce) and a choice of accompaniments (eg white beans in coconut milk, sage butter, citrus fruit). The appealing set menu served at lunchtime is formed from dishes on the à la carte menu; in the evening, there is greater choice. Online bookings only.
