The luxurious Sonnenalp Resort, run by the Fäßler family since 1919, also boasts an excellent culinary offering. Silberdistel's kitchen team uses select seasonal ingredients. On Wed, Thu and Sat, they serve a five- to seven-course set menu ("Weitblick Menu"); before, with or between the courses you can order caviar. On Fri and Sun, a menu of classic dishes is available. Here on the fourth floor, you are afforded wonderful views, so be sure to ask for a window seat. Having said that, the restaurant interior itself, with its blend of stylish elegance and Alpine charm, is also attractive. Then there is the enthusiastic sense of hospitality, which makes itself felt throughout this traditional establishment.
