The Michelin Guide's review
This fashionable and lively restaurant in Munich's Glockenbackviertel is run by a dedicated young team. The secret of its success lies in its modern Alpine cuisine – it is by turns creative and traditional, but the sharp presentation is a constant, and the ingredients are the region's finest. Dishes such as "veal loin cordon bleu, Vulcano ham & potato salad with pumpkin seed oil" or "red veal lights, gherkins & Serviettenknödel (bread dumplings)" can be chosen à la carte or combined in a four or five-course set menu. The well-curated wine list is also surprisingly extensive – another highlight. In summer, guests are drawn to the terrace in front of the restaurant. N.B. Parking options are limited – it is best to get here by public transport.
