The Michelin Guide's review
Not far from the train station, Gare Saint-Paul, this little bistro is buzzing. This is not a place for white tablecloths or pompous service; rather a lively atmosphere, simple, trendy decor, a stylish waitress juggling tables in time to the beat of a well-chosen playlist, and a tiny open kitchen. At the helm is Sarah Hamza, chef and owner. Her cooking is fresh, generous and contemporary, with that unique quality that comes from her Algerian roots. This heritage also inspires her clever twists to dishes such as trout with smoked butter lentil stew, blood orange and harissa-glazed carrots. The menu is short, the dishes on the blackboard change often, and the ingredients speak for themselves.
