The husband-and-wife team of Stephanie and Matt Mell have a burgeoning empire of restaurants, bars and retail specialty shops, including this hit in downtown Huntsville. Meanwhile Chef Juventino Manuel is behind the stove, and his Mexican roots and training in Asian kitchens are both reflected on the menu. He's well known for his ossobuco, but don't sleep on the taco tucked with wagyu beef and aji amarillo aioli or the Korobuta pork belly atop a mole that will have you sopping up every last bit—preferably with their house-made cornbread that comes in a cast iron skillet with honey butter and smoked salt.
