The Michelin Guide's review
Tucked away deep in a cultural park converted from a construction built in Qing Dynasty, Chú is the transliteration of the Chinese word for a young bird, symbolising the endless rebirths of its cuisine. The menu is transmuted from the ground up according to the season, marrying European techniques and seasonal ingredients with authentic Sichuanese flavours to great effect. Ask for a table on the riverside terrace, weather permitting.
