Behind the beautiful sandstone façade of the former stables of Schloss Castell, historical and modern furnishings have been combined to great effect, with plenty of wood adding a rustic touch. Ingredients sourced from local producers and game hunted by the establishment go into regional and seasonal cuisine. The menu features dishes such as ox cheek with black salsify and bread dumplings. Just next door is Fürstlich Castell'sche Domäne, a VDP wine estate that sells its own wines.
