In this pleasant village bistro complete with wine shop, chef Lionel Cotentin draws on his strong culinary background as well as good local produce – organic market garden vegetables, small-scale fishing – to create a menu that changes with the seasons. The cuisine is modern, meticulous and full of bold flavours, with discernible Asian influences, as seen in the Japanese-style devilled egg with soy sauce mayonnaise, topped with seaweed and roasted sesame seeds. Efficient service – with a smile.
