Classic Cuisine
The Michelin Guide's review
Overlooking Berchtesgaden, surrounded by stunning natural beauty and with a magnificent mountain backdrop, the location is to die for! At the restaurant of the luxurious Kempinski Hotel Berchtesgaden, you can enjoy delicious seasonal cuisine made with fresh, local ingredients. For dessert, we highly recommend the Eckerbichl-Haustorte. The sleek, modern interior design is a draw in itself. Incidentally, the restaurant is named after the first person to climb the east face of the Watzmann and Germany's first official mountain guide. Weather permitting, be sure to make the most of the spacious terrace. Tip: A short path around the hotel affords panoramic views of the mountains – especially magical at sunset.
