The Michelin Guide's review
Offering a reinterpretation of Catalan cuisine, here, a stone’s throw from Diagonal, you can taste the dishes of chef Miquel Pardo (also in charge of the popular Cruix) as he gives free rein to his most gastronomic and personal project. Behind the name, which translates to ‘mellow’, we find a contemporary-regional proposal that shows great knowledge. He is very well supported by his right hand, the experienced chef Juan Bambini, and they have a real gift when it comes to achieving an overall balance. Here, everything flows under the umbrella of its tasting menus (Petit Melós, Melós and Gran Melós), with one more reserved for working lunches, which is called Menú il.lustrat. Our attention was drawn to the Territorio course, made up of various appetisers that seek to bring Catalan traditions into the modern day. Fun fact: Most of the tableware is made by local and Valencian artisans!
