This restaurant first started out in a small village in Rhodes but since 2022 it has occupied a charming space in the lively Ano Petralona district, on the edge of the famous Acropolis. Here, chef Giovanni Scaraggi, originally from Puglia in Southern Italy, conjures up contemporary Italian cuisine with an international touch inspired by his travels in Thailand, Nepal, Brazil, Denmark etc. As well as an excellent selection of fresh pasta (as you would expect given his nationality), standout options here included the basket of sourdough bread with Puglian-style focaccia, taralli, and herb oil, which pays perfect homage to the Bel Paese, and the red tuna tartare, with bagna cauda sauce, sea lettuce, and a Mediterranean herb crumble, prepared with top-quality products and full of surprising flavours.
