The Michelin Guide's review
The brasserie of Evangeline and Frédéric Chabbert, established in a picturesque 1893 rotunda, whisks you off to the French capital. The vintage interior sports an eclectic patchwork of cooking utensils and old photos, while the varied culinary lineup is the quintessence of Gallic. Velvety, melt-in-the-mouth foie gras terrine, juicy basque chicken in vin jaune and morels, without forgetting the fabulous chocolate tart that has founded the reputation of this brasserie over the years. It is bliss to (re)discover the rich classical score and regional delicacies. Good news: this friendly establishment in the Zurenborg district is open almost every day, except Sunday evening.
