Located alongside the lovely Lake Taupo, Braxmere Lodge offers accommodations with a patio and lake views. Guests can request a BBQ and enjoy access to our boat ramp. Braxmere Lodge Tokaanu is a 10-minute drive from Trout Hatchery and Turangi. Mt Ruapehu-Whakapapa Ski Field is 35 minutes’ drive away. Each air-conditioned apartment has a kitchenette with a microwave and stovetop. The seating area has a flat-screen TV. The private bathroom includes a hairdryer and free toiletries. Guests receive free Wi-Fi, but need to be aware that due to our rural location, the internet & phone service can be patchy. Our restaurant is currently closed and our jetty was badly damaged by the last cyclone - we are waiting on insurance and repairs. However, the boat ramp is still able to be used to launch your boats and the Lake is great for swimming and other water sports
